BI
Business Intelligence, group of tools that summarizes analytical data and presents it in a linear and graphic format.

BSC
Balanced Scorecard, management model created by Kaplan and Norton that helps organizations translate their strategies into quantifiable operational objectives.

B2B
Business to Business, indicates sales relations among companies.

B2C
Business to Consumer, indicates sales relations between companies and consumers.

Call Center
Telemarketing, sales over the telephone, customer care, help desk, CTI and Field Service Management, considered conjunctively.

CMMI
Capability Maturity Model Integration, the standardized model of quality control used in software development processes, with five levels of maturity.

CPD
Data processing center (Centro de Processamento de Dados).

CPR
Permanent Results Center (Centro Permanente de Resultados).

CRM
Customer Relationship Management, tool that manages relationships with clients.

CTI
Computer-Telephony Integration, solutions that give a computer the capacity to operate as a Call Center, receiving calls and transferring them to people and devices.

Data base organized to offer decision-making support.

Datamart
Specialized version of Data Warehouse, which works with a more specific scope of data.

ERM
Enterprise Relationship Management, software that analyzes available data about clients and the use of products and services offered by a company.

ERP
Enterprise Resource Planning, a system that integrates all the departments and divisions of a business into one software.

Field Service Management
Process and information optimization concept, according to the client´s perspective. Usually involves CRM software combinations, wireless applications and data base with the client´s relationship history. Also known as technical assistance.

Informix
Data base produced by Informix, an IBM group business.

Intelligence Tools
Software that compiles and analyzes information originating from operational applications, such as the ERP that helps manage companies´ tactical and strategic levels.

Internal information network based on internet technology.
